About EGA Prostaff
Nick "Jump'n" Johannsen
Nick grew up in South Dakota hunting deer and pheasants and is a relative newcomer to the waterfowling world. He has only seriously been hunting waterfowl since 2001. In the time since, he has learned from fellow Prostaffers and has developed his own extensive waterfowling knowledge. Nick spends between 40 and 50 days in the field hunting and at least twice as many scouting for the next hunting opportunity. Learning from state waterfowl calling champions, Nick is also an excellent caller of geese and ducks. Nick's reputation among EGA Prostaff members for his organizational skills is second to none.

Along with Nick Johannsen, Lee formed the EGA Prostaff brand and combined the knowledge of several other hunters in eastern South Dakota. Lee also spends 40 to 50 days in the field scouting and hunting Canada geese and mallards. Lee is known among other Prostaff members for his tenacious drive in securing hunting spots and ensuring a satisfying hunt.

Jason will walk through mud up to his neck, 4-wheel past 10,000 mallards feeding in a field and drive around the earth just to shoot a limit of honkers. From mid-August until the end of the river goose season in February, Jason is chasing, chasing and chasing. Jason is an expert caller and is the EGA Prostaff innovator of developing new goose decoy placements to entice late season honkers.

Ryan is a versatile waterfowl hunter majoring in a serious honker addiction. Along with other Prostaff members, Ryan spends almost everyday during the waterfowl season hunting or scouting new areas to harvest birds. Ryan has brought his extensive knowledge in decoy placement and waterfowl tactics to the Prostaff and we are lucky to have him.

Corey's positive attitude has rubbed off on the entire Prostaff and he always sees the bright side of any hunting situation. Corey is also an avid pheasant hunter and upland bird guide. Corey is the most well rounded member of the Prostaff, included raising and training waterfowl/upland bird dogs.

Due to a limit on number of consecutive entries in the South Dakota competition, Ben has retired from competition calling. Ben is a master at scouting and has developed relationships with numerous farmers and ranchers throughout eastern South Dakota. Most of Ben's scouting techniques have been adopted by other EGA Prostaff members. Ben's overall waterfowl knowledge makes him a "go to" guy when the conditions and situations get tough.

Damian "Olt School" Greble
Damian is EGA Prostaff's southern connection. He has grown up hunting mallards in the flooded fields of north central Missouri. Damian has recently relocated to South Dakota and has molded his Missouri waterfowl experience to fit eastern SoDak style. Damian is "old school" when it comes to calling and decoying wary late season mallards. His philosophy of calling only when needed and sounding more "ducky" than the next guy has reaped great dividends. Damian has quickly become one of the Prostaff go to guys.
